Introducing Tattit CRM: The Immersive "Artist Studio" Tailored for Tattoo Professionals

For a tattoo artist, the studio is a sacred space. It is where raw imagination meets skin, where client stories become permanent art, and where technical precision is paramount. But behind the scenes, there is a separate, far less glamorous reality: the endless juggle of Instagram DMs, deposit tracking, reference photo folders, and appointment rescheduling.

Until now, managing your tattoo business meant hopping between spreadsheet apps, photo galleries, and messaging platforms.

We built Tattit CRM to change that.

Designed to function as an immersive, professional "Artist Studio" directly within the Tattit platform, this new system replaces clutter with high-end aesthetics, dark-mode-first glassmorphism, and frictionless client interactions. Here is a deep dive into the design and functionality of your new digital workspace.

1. A Sanctuary for Creativity: The Immersive Navigation

Creativity requires focus. When you enter the CRM, the noise of the main marketplace fades away. By clicking the pulsing CRM button, you enter a distraction-free environment (/crm):

  • No Distractions: The main website’s global headers, footers, and marketing banners completely disappear.
  • Desktop Sidebar: A modern, sticky sidebar featuring backdrop-blur (glassmorphism) keeps your tools at your fingertips without eating up visual space.
  • Mobile Floating Nav: When you're working on the go, the sidebar transforms into a highly responsive, floating bottom navigation bar, leaving maximum screen real estate for viewing client records or designs.
  • The Vibe: With a sleek, dark-mode-friendly background (bg-background/50), subtle gradients, soft borders, and smooth hover micro-animations, the workspace feels premium, tactile, and satisfying to navigate.

2. The Clients Command Center (/crm/clients)

Your client list is the lifeblood of your studio. The Clients tab has been completely redesigned to act as a high-speed command center:

  • Searchable Client Ledger: Easily filter through names, contact info, and Instagram handles in a clean, modern data table.
  • Quick Add Dialog: Have a walk-in client or someone who booked outside Tattit? A beautifully animated dialog pops up to let you register them in seconds.
  • Platform Sync & Badging: Clients who booked through the main Tattit marketplace are automatically synced and tagged with a distinct "Tattit User" badge, immediately linking their profiles to their platform history.

3. The Appointment Hub (/crm/appointments)

A busy schedule shouldn't mean a messy UI. Instead of list-based calendars, the Appointments tab introduces a visual, card-based dashboard:

  • Elevated Card Layout: Upcoming sessions are displayed as floating cards that gently elevate and cast a soft shadow when hovered, making the page feel alive.
  • Dynamic "Time Left" Badges: Never lose track of time. A pulsing, color-coded badge dynamically displays human-readable remaining time (e.g., ~12 hours remaining), serving as a gentle, visual heads-up.
  • Visual Hierarchy: To keep you focused on the future, past appointments automatically fade out and lose their borders, naturally receding into the background.

4. The Project Hub (/crm/projects/[id])

When a tattoo idea moves from concept to execution, the project page becomes your central dashboard. Organized into 4 intuitive tabs, it keeps all project details perfectly compartmentalized:

  1. Overview: View project notes alongside bold typography displaying the negotiated price, amount paid, and the remaining balance.
  2. Media Assets: Powered by Cloudinary, this visual grid hosts all your references, sketches, stencils, and healed photos. Hovering over an image scales it up smoothly and reveals who uploaded it.
  3. Finances: A clean, itemized ledger to record manual payments, like cash deposits. Every transaction is automatically timestamped, so you never have to guess who paid what.
  4. Client Portal Share Link: Generate a secure, 24-hour expiring link with a single click to bring your client into the workflow.

5. The Public Client Portal (/crm/share/[token])

The magic of Tattit CRM extends directly to your clients. When you share a secure token link via Instagram or WhatsApp, they gain access to a dedicated client portal:

  • Frictionless Access: No downloads, no passwords, and no login required. Your client clicks the link and is immediately inside.
  • Professional Branding: The portal displays your profile picture, name, and "Artist Studio" branding, establishing trust and a premium feel from the start.
  • Direct Uploads: Clients see a prominent "Select Image" button to upload reference concepts directly from their phone's camera roll. These files sync straight into your project's Media Assets folder.

Elevating the Business of Tattoos

Tattit CRM isn't just about managing data—it's about presenting your art and your business with the professionalism they deserve. By streamlining administration, organizing references, and professionalizing the client relationship, the Artist Studio lets you do what you do best: create beautiful tattoos.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are client share links secure?
Yes. Share links contain encrypted tokens that automatically expire after 24 hours to protect your client's data and project files.

How does the finance ledger handle deposits?
You can manually record any cash, bank transfer, or digital deposit in the ledger. It automatically recalculates the remaining balance and displays the timestamp of the payment.

Can clients upload images using mobile web?
Absolutely. The client portal is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, allowing clients to snap photos of reference ideas and upload them instantly from their camera roll.
